These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services offered by Hour Finder at www.hourfinder.com (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Hour Finder provides a platform for individuals to submit profile information so they may be considered for remote or flexible opportunities that may be offered by third-party hiring companies. Hour Finder is generally not your employer.
2. Eligibility
You must meet any age and eligibility requirements stated on our website (including our eligibility checklist) and applicable Singapore law. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to use the Services.
3. Nature of the Services
The Services facilitate profile submission and general information about how opportunities may work. Hour Finder does not guarantee interviews, job offers, earnings, or any particular outcome. Hiring decisions are made by third-party companies. Role availability, pay, and conditions vary and are confirmed by those companies.
4. Your obligations
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information;
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- Not misuse the site (e.g. no scraping, hacking, distributing malware, or impersonation);
- Maintain the confidentiality of any credentials we may issue and notify us of unauthorised use.
5. Third-party hiring companies
If your profile is shared with or viewed by hiring companies, their screening, interviews, contracts, and employment terms are solely between you and them (unless otherwise expressly stated). Hour Finder is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or representations.
6. Intellectual property
Content on the Services (including text, graphics, logos, and layout) is owned by Hour Finder or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law or for personal, non-commercial viewing.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Hour Finder and its affiliates, directors, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or reliance on information on the site.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (if any) for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) SGD one hundred (S$100), except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hour Finder from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or violation of applicable law, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, legal compliance, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability limits, intellectual property) will survive termination.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes may require additional steps under applicable law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory provisions of law.
